MWC 2024: DITO is the new number 1 rated mobile network in PH—Ookla

Independent internet testing authority Ookla has just awarded DITO Telecommunity as the new number-rated mobile network in the Philippines.

DITO is the new number 1 rated mobile network in the Philippines!

The award is based on real consumer network tests on Ookla from Q3 to Q4, 2023.

To win this award, DITO recorded a rating of 3.6 to beat Smart with 3.4 and Globe with 3.3.

This is the first win of the Philippines' official 3rd mobile telco. The award is a big win for DITO as the telco is only 3 years old.

DITO also recently secured a USD 3.9 billion long-term goal to "extinguish" its short-term loan facilities, pay contractors, and fund continuing network rollout projects.
