MWC 2024: TECNO CAMON 30 5G launched: 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED, Dimensity 7020 chip, 50MP OIS cam

TECNO Mobile formally introduced the CAMON 30 5G. The device features a similar camera-inspired design to its Premier variant and strong camera specs.

The TECNO CAMON 30 5G arrived in Glass and Vegan Leather finishes. In front, it sports a large 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ 2436 x 1080 resolution, and a top-center punch-hole housing the 50MP selfie camera with AF and Dual Color Temperature Flash.

Under the hood, it is equipped with the 2.2GHz 6nm Dimensity 7020 octa-core processor with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. It is paired with 12GB RAM, up to 12GB virtual RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C Ultra Charge support.

The primary camera of this device is a 50MP camera with a 1/1.57-inch large sensor with OIS. Unfortunately, it has two filler cameras namely the 2MP depth sensor and the so-called "AI" camera.

The handset was also designed in partnership with Dolby for its Dolby Atmos audio effects and comes with a stereo dual speaker setup.

It runs with Android 14 OS out of the box with TECNO's HiOS 14 skin.

The TECNO CAMON 30 Series will be available in Q2 2024. There is no word about its pricing yet.
