Maya invites more Cavitenos to adopt “digi-palengke”

The e-wallet platform said it is boosting efforts to offer its services to more people.

Offering "digi-palengke" in Cavite

Maya said in a statement that it is increasing efforts to further integrate its Paleng-QR Ph starting with Cavite.

The company said this move aims to "propel the transformation of Bacoor City’s public market with the inauguration of the Paleng-QR initiative recently."

Under the stewardship of the Bacoor City Government, and backed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the program "is set to redefine local commerce."

Paleng-QR Ph aims to modernize transactions starting from public markets and extending to local transportation services. Maya said this program wants to empower vendors to accept digital payments from customers, whatever e-wallet or banking institution it is, through QR Ph.

Through strategic alliances and pioneering initiatives like Paleng-QR, Maya is dedicated to revolutionizing the financial landscape, making financial services more inclusive and convenient for every Filipino, Maya said.
