Sonos Era 100, 300 now official in PH: Compact wireless speakers, Dolby Atmos, starts at PHP 16,990

Sonos has just launched two new members from its affordable "Era Series" in the Philippines—the Era 100 and Era 300.

Sonos Era 100 is a bookshelf-like speaker boasting a compact and sleek design and powerful sound. It comes with two angle tweeters to balance left and right frequencies, a midwoofer that is 25 percent larger than Sonos One, and custom waveguides to "amplify soundwaves". 

Moreover, it connects either via Bluetooth, WiFi, or Airplay connections.

It could be connected to another Era 100 for a more immersive stereo audio experience.

Next is the Sonos Era 300. According to the company, this speaker combines aesthetically pleasing design with "pioneering" technical specs.

It comes with 6x optically positioned drivers including 4x tweeters and 2x woofers. It also has "custom" waveguides to balance audio output from wall to wall and even floor to ceiling. This comes with Dolby Atmos audio for optimized and more immersive listening.

Similar to the Era 100, it connects via Bluetooth and WiFi. But now, it has auxiliary cable support.

The speaker also comes with touch and hands-free controls.

Both speakers are compatible with the Sonos App where users can customize their listening experience.

Sonos also said that each of its speakers incorporates responsible design. Era 100 uses 42 percent less energy than Sonos One when idle. Both Era 100 and Era 300 are made with 40 percent post-consumer-recycled plastics.

All Sonos devices come with 100 percent recyclable exterior and interior packaging as well.
