Infinix GT10 Pro is the official gaming phone of MPL PH Season 13

Infinix has announced that its gaming-focused GT series will be MPL-PH Season 13's official gaming phone.

Is Infinix GT 10 Pro Esports ready?

This move is Infinix's way of supporting the local gaming and Esports scene which they have actually been doing since Season 11 and 12. Now, the said Infinix GT10 Pro will be the official tournament phone of MPL Players in the upcoming competition.

To recall, this device boasts a transparent cyberpunk-inspired rear design with mini-LED, 120Hz 6.67-inch 10-bit AMOLED screen, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming, FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution and is certified by TUV Rheinland for optical safety.

The Phone's design

Inside, it is equipped with a 3.0GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8050 octa-core processor with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. This processor also ensures Ultra Graphics as claimed by Infinix.

It is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM + another 8GB virtual RAM, 256GB storage, 5,000mAh battery that supports USB-C 45W fast charging, bypass bypassing tech for continuous gaming.

Also to ensure the maintained performance of the device, it has vapor chamber liquid cooling tech to dissipate the heat.

For cameras, it has a 108MP f/1.75 primary sensor with 1/1.67-inch size + 2MP macro + 2MP depth + quad LED flash. At the front, it has a 32MP shooter with 2x LED flash.

To make gaming more immersive, Infinix added 4D vibration for that energetic feel on clashes.

Apart from gaming-centric devices, the brand also offers various affordable phones from the NOTE series, ZERO series, GT, HOT, and Smart series.

For years, the Apple iPhone has been the go-to device by MPL PH players due to optimized experience and responsiveness that can keep up with their advanced mechanical prowess and quick thinking.

There are a handful of occasions when the ROG Phone was selected as the official gaming phone for certain tournaments related to MLBB as well.

Now a gaming phone for the masses will be used in the upcoming tournament. This is quite a development from Infinix, apart from being included in the leading smartphone brands (Transsion Group) in the Philippines.

The question is, can the professional players adjust to the new official tournament device? Seeing that it has been approved by the MPL organization may likely imply something. 

Remember that the Philippines is also the top dog when it comes to this mobile title.

We have yet to find out in the Season 13.
