vivo gives credit to its "nonstop pursuit" of innovation
Citing the latest Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker report by International Data Corporation, vivo said it logged a growth in its market share in the Philippines, which increased from 10.5 percent in 2022 to 11.3 percent in 2023. This means an 11.7 percent growth year-on-year.
The data proves that vivo's position in the market has been strong, thanks to its nonstop pursuit of innovation, vivo said in a statement.
vivo has been steadfast in its efforts to provide Filipinos with premium yet innovative phones with the best imaging capabilities. This commitment is evident in its latest offerings in the V and Y series, the brand added.
One of the reasons behind its success is the vivo V29 Series bannered by the vivo V29 5G featuring a 50MP OIS ultra-sensing camera and Aura Light 2.0.
For the Y series, vivo launched the Y36 featuring a 50MP Super Night Algorithm in July 2023. This smartphone was made for nighttime photography.
Aside from the Y36, vivo said it also offers more budget-friendly Y Series phones.
vivo's growth in the Philippines is a testament to its commitment to innovation and providing premium yet affordable smartphones. It continues to push the boundaries of smartphone technology, providing users with superior imaging capabilities and innovative features, the company said.
