HUAWEI nova 12i and nova 12 SE with 108MP cameras will launch in the Philippines soon!

Tech giant HUAWEI confirmed that two members of the nova 12 Series will go official in the Philippines soon.

In particular, they are the nova 12i and nova 12 SE featuring stylish looks and capable cameras designed for Millennial and Gen Z populations.

The HUAWEI nova 12i is the model with a circular camera hump. It also features a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a top-center punch-hole for the selfie camera.

The device also has a 6nm Snapdragon 680 chip, up to 256GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 40W SuperCharge tech.

Meanwhile, the nova 12 SE features 2 top-left aligned camera rings with the "nova" logo at the back. The display is also upgraded to a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ OLED panel with a top-center notch. The other upgrade is the charging speed is now 66W.

The two phones boast a 108MP f/1.9 main camera with 1/1.67-inch sensor size and 9-in-1 pixel fusion technology and Zero Shutter Lag (ZSL) for improved overall photos and videos.

The nova 12i is paired with a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor while the nova 12 SE has an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera.

The nova 12i also has an 8MP selfie camera while the nova 12 SE features a higher-res 32MP snapper. Both have "advanced" noise reduction technologies.

EMUI 14

Both arrived with the EMUI 14 skin with an upgraded visual computing mechanism that its users can customize depending on their preferences and improved security and privacy features.

EMUI 14 also has the new Live View feature for real-time updates and the enhanced SuperHub for easier file transfers across devices.

There is no word regarding its pricing yet. But, it will be available in both Huawei’s physical and online stores soon in the Philippines.
