Launched last year, GStocks PH is an online stocks trading platform that aims to encourage more Filipinos to get into investing in stocks.

Through the GCash app, users can easily top-up, buy or sell, and withdraw the amount they earned from investing in the Philippine Stock market.

So far, AB Capital is the only stockbroker available on the platform.

The two companies have teamed up to achieve a common goal—getting more Filipinos into trading.

Through our partnership with GCash, it’s now very easy for an individual to open an account for local stock investments and trade in stocks, with just a tap of their finger, said AB Capital & Investment Corporation Chairman and CEO Antonio Jose Periquet in an earlier statement.

GCash has said it aims to ramp up the user base of the stock investment platform as analysts see a recovery in financial markets this year.

As of April 2024, GCash said it recorded nearly half a million user base for GStocks PH.
