The Pixel 8a features 4 color designs in Bay, Aloe, Obsidian and Porcelain options. It still bears the similar looks as its sibling with a minimalist approach.
At the front, it uses the 6.1-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Inside, the phone is equipped with a 2.9GHz 4nm Google Tensor G3 9-core processor with Mali-G715 MP7 GPU, 8GB RAP, and 128GB/256GB storage choices.
In terms of battery, the phone uses a 4,492mAh capacity that charges using 18W USB-C wired and wireless charging support.
For cameras, it uses the 64MP main cam with Quad PD Bayer and f/1.89 aperture coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, PDAF and uses 13MP as well for front-facing camera.
Other features noted are stereo speakers, an IP67 rating, 2x microphones, and In-Display fingerprint reader.
Connectivity-wise the Pixel 8a has 5G, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6E (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC.
For software, the phone runs Android 14 and comes with 7 years of OS and security updates.
It also comes with AI features like Circle to Search, Pixel call assistance, and Gemini.

It is now available for pre-order in the US while the physical sale will start on May 14. Unfortunately, the Pixel Series remains unavailable officially in the Philippines.
