Redmi Note 13R launched: SD4G2 Advanced Edition, dual glass design, and 50MP main cam!

Xiaomi adds another variant to the long list of Note 13 Series. This time, it will be the 13R.

The phone adopts the same design as its siblings with three modules for cameras and LED flash. It comes in Light Ocean Blue, Ice Crystal Silver, and Midnight Black. All of which features dual glass for a more trendy look.

At the front, the phone sports a 6.79-inch LCD (IPS)FHD+ 2460 x 1080 resolution with a 30-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 550 nits peak brightness.

Inside, it uses the 2.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Advanced Edition octa-core chip with Adreno GPU.

It is paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.

For battery, it has a 5,030mAh capacity that charges using USB-C and 18W power brick.

When it comes to imaging, the phone uses a 50MP rear shooter 1/2.76-inch sensor with f/1.8 aperture + 2MP macro helper with f/2.4 aperture + LED flash. In front, it uses an 8MP selfie camera.

Other features noted are a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP53 rating for some splash and dust resistance.

Connectivity-wise, the phone uses 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with HyperOS.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Redmi Note 13R 6GB/128GB - CNY 1,399 (around PHP 11.2K)

Redmi Note 13R 12GB/512GB - CNY 2,199 (around PHP 17.6K)

It is currently available in China and is already listed on Xiaomi's website. No word yet if it will come to other countries.
