vivo V30e is now official: 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED, 5.5KmAh battery, 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS cam

In India, vivo released the V30e. It's a promising mid-range smartphone with a big display, large battery capacity, and a capable primary camera.

In particular, the vivo V30e features a slightly curved back cover in Velvet Red and Silk Blue colorways with a top-left positioned circular camera hump. This body also has an IP64 rating for water splash and dust resistance.

In front, it uses a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and 1,300 nits of peak brightness. It also has an In-Display fingerprint reader and a top-center punch-hole housing the 50MP AF front camera with 4K selfie video shooting capability.

Powering the phone is the 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip with an Adreno GPU, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB internal storage, and a large 5,500mAh battery capacity with USB-C 44W fast charging support.

For the back cameras, the device features a 50MP Sony IMX882 main shooter with OIS for stabilized photos and videos as well as a lossless 2x 50mm Portrait zoom mode. It is paired with an 8MP snapper for ultra-wide 120-degree shots.

Similar to the V30 and V30 Pro, it comes with an Aura Light tech for "studio-like Portrait shots" in different lighting conditions.

Completing the specs, the device has dual-band WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

It runs with Android 14 OS with Funtouch OS 14 skin out of the box.

The devices are now listed in Indian online and offline stores.

There is no info if it will be released in the Philippines yet.
