Alongside the V30 5G, vivo Philippines formally introduced its Pro version last night.

A closer look at vivo V30 Pro 5G's legit ZEISS 50MP triple-camera setup

The vivo V30 Pro 5G is the company's first V Series smartphone equipped with ZEISS optics. Previously, the ZEISS branding was only available for its high-end X Series phones.

In particular, vivo loaded this handset with four (4x) ZEISS-tuned cameras.

At the back, it has a 50MP f/1.88 VCS True Color Main Camera (Sony IMX890) with PDAF focus and OIS, a 50MP f/2.0 119-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with AF, and a 50MP f/1.85 Portrait camera with AF. Of course, vivo added ZEISS Style Portrait effects to elevate the Portrait shots of its users.

It also has a regular LED flash and the Upgraded Aura Light to provide "studio-like" lighting anywhere.

For selfies, vivo also packed this with a 50MP f/2.0 sensor and adjustable Aura Screen Light.

The vivo V30 Pro 5G features a 3D curved glass back available in Noble Black, Bloom White, Lush Green, and Waving Aqua colorways as well as an IP54 water and dust resistance rating.

In front, it uses a 6.78-inch large AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, P3 color gamut, 2800 nits peak brightness, and 1.5K 2800 x 1260 resolution. Its screen also has an In-Display fingerprint reader, top-center punch-hole, and Schott α glass protection.

Inside, it is similar to the OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G (PHP 31,999 SRP) with a 3.1GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8200 octa-core processor and Mali-G610 (950MHz) GPU. It is paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 12GB Extended RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with 80W Fast Charge tech that can charge the device to 100 percent in just 48 minutes.

Moreover, vivo is claiming that it has a 4-Year Battery Health tech as well.

It also has an Ultra Large Smart Cooling System with 3002 mm², Ultra Large Vapor Chamber of 35,141 mm² Total Cooling Area, 1513 Core Temperature, and 1611 Temperature Sensors.
