Tesla Roadster soon in PH?

To recap, Tesla's newly unveiled Roadster is a sports car that uses ultra-high-pressure air tanks and 10 nozzles to propel itself, enabling stunts like leaping over other cars and accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in under a second.

CNN noted that it demonstrated short airborne "hops" with air jets, though sustained flight remains unproven, and experts caution it may achieve only limited lift rather than true flight.

The publication also noted that its production is targeted for 2028, but Tesla's timelines have historically slipped, leaving questions about whether the Roadster can deliver both road performance and genuine flight.

The Tesla Roadster uses a dual-motor rear-wheel-drive system that delivers up to 1,500 horsepower and uses a high-powered suction system for extreme downforce.

The car uses a massive 200 kWh nickel‑based lithium‑ion battery pack, enabling Tesla's claimed 620‑mile target range, though real‑world estimates suggest closer to 310 to 320 miles.

It comes in Performance, Thrust, and Rocket versions. The Performance and Thrust models (with multi‑mode suction systems and acceleration thrusters) are two‑seater EVs, while the Rocket version (equipped with a full flight system) has only one seat.
