OPPO has posted the launch date of its F27 series which is slated to happen on June 13, 2024.
Among the highlights is the IP69-rated chassis. This should make the devices resistant to dust and water and may even be submerged up to a certain degree and with due diligence. Note that even flagships are mostly limited to IP68 so this is quite interesting for mid-range at least if the leaks are correct.
Meanwhile, a couple of live photos are seen on the net showing the phones submerged in the water. Moreover, you can also spot the design which shows the series will have a circular camera island, a combination of metal and leather for the rear design. While in front, it shows a 6.7-inch OLED panel.
The source suggests the F27 Pro is powered by the 2.6GHz 6nm Dimensity 7050 8-core chip with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU and will have 8GB/256GB memory along side 5,000mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC, 64MP + 8MP + 2MP macro.
In terms of selfies, the Pro version is said to have a 32MP front.
Apparently, most of the Pro+ details remain a mystery which means we will have to wait for the June 13 product launch for more information.
Finally, the OPPO A3 Pro has uncanny similarities with the F27 Pro which likely be a renamed version for Global consumers.
What do you guys think?
