These are the tech brands that bagged recognition this year.

OPPO, Xiaomi, Infinix, and HONOR are among those recognized

Winners of the 5th VP Choice Awards were held in May. Various brands and personalities were recognized under different categories.

For tech, these are the brands that bagged awards:

Mobile Phone Brand of the Year - OPPO

Flagship Smartphone of the Year (over PHP 50,000) - HONOR Magic 5 Pro

Premium Smartphone of the Year (under PHP 40,000) - OPPO Reno 10 Pro+

Mid-range Smartphone of the Year (under PHP 25,000) - realme 11 Pro+

Entry-level Smartphone of the Year (under PHP 10,000) - Infinix Note 30 5G

Accessory Brand of the Year - Xiaomi

Camera Brand of the Year - Canon

Laptop of the Year - Asus

Gadget Store of the Year - Save ’N Earn

TV Brand of the Year - TCL

Online Shopping Portal of the Year - SHEIN

Transport App of the Year - Grab

Determining the winner was based on the following criteria:

• 30 percent from the Bingo Plus Voting Portal
• 20 percent of the VP Choice Awards Facebook reels
• 20 percent of the panel of experts
• 30 percent from the Village Pipol Editorial Team

This year's VP Choice Awards has partnered with a number of organizations, namely Spotlight Cosmetics, Amaterasu Sun Goddess, VisualEscape Graphics and Design, and Eplayment as this year's major sponsors. Also making the event possible are J&T Express, Variahealth, Johnrev Skinceuticals, and Sumarni Aesthetics.

Meanwhile, Horizon Digital Management and Tangere App serve as this year's Collaborators. VP Choice Awards also partnered with the Philippine Star, Mindanao Daily News, BusinessWeek, Pilipino Mirror, and LionhearTV.
