Allegedly even more expensive?

IT Home reports that Korean Media have said that Samsung had previously developed a prototype of an 8-inch folding screen mobile phone but the sample at the time had the problem of excessive thickness which affected the grip.

Earlier this month, reports from Korea have said that the approval of the main components of the alleged Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim mobile phone has been completed, and it is about to enter mass production and is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.

Weeks later on July 22, IceUniverse posted claims of an upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim (previously rumored to be known as the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra) with an external screen with a 6.5-inch display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, the same as the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Ice Universe also clarified that this Z Fold6 Slim should not be confused with the China-exclusive W25. The alleged Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim will use a titanium frame with a thinner body and a larger screen and will be exclusively sold in China and Korea only.

Take this information with a grain of salt until an official announcement from Samsung has been made.

What do you guys think?
