Pixel 9 Series camera details leaked

It was reported that the Google Pixel 9 Series is going to launch on August 13. But before that, there's key info that was posted by Android Authority.

As per the publisher, Google will be using Samsung or Sony sensors depending on the model.

To start, the Pixel 9 will use a 50MP Samsung GNK 1/1.31-inch main sensor with OIS, and 50MP Sony IMX858 1/2.51-inch ultra-wide camera, and a 10.5MP Samsung 3J1 1/3-inch AF selfie camera.

The Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL will use the same sensors for the main camera and ultra-wide. However, they will also use the Sony IMX858 sensor for the telephoto unit and Selfie camera both of which have 50MP as well.

As for the Pixel 9 Fold Pro, it will have a Sony IMX787 with 48MP resolution and OIS on the main camera. It is joined with a 12MP Samsung 3LU 1/1.32-inch ultra-wide unit and a 10.5MP Samsung 3J1 1/3-inch 10.5MP OIS telephoto camera.

It will also use a Samsung 3K1 1/3.94-inch selfie camera and other similar sensors for the cover screen selfie.

The publisher also hinted that Google may finally introduce an 8K video record since the Tensor G3 and Samsung GNK sensor are capable of processing that.

Finally, the points are expected to get more expensive when it launches in Europe versus last year's release. You may keep in touch with us as there might be more information as the launch date approaches.

What do you guys think?
