The "Weather Proof Design" budget phone is now official in the Philippines

The realme C63 is the company's newest entry-level smartphone boasting a durable "Weather Proof Design" designed to keep up with daily wear and tear.

The display

The device could survive accidental drops and harsh environments such as extreme temperatures for peace of mind as well as an IP54 rating to prevent dust accumulation and protect the phone against water splashes.

According to realme, this phone was able to survive 200,000 abrasion tests without a scratch to prove its durability. This has the High Reliability Certification from realme as well.

The phone also has the Rainwater Smart Touch feature. This tech is designed to maintain an accurate accurate touch response even with wet hands or a wet display allowing users to swipe and tap precisely during a rainy walk outside.

For specs, it uses a leather-like back design, 6.74-inch 90Hz HD+ LCD screen, 12nm UNISOC T612 chip, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging support with TÜV Rheinland Safe Fast-Charge System Certification also means the charging system meets the highest safety standards.

This also has the Mini Capsule 2.0 on its notch for displaying notifications like Charging and Battery Status, Data Usage, Step Tracking, Weather Notifications, Event Reminders, and Music Playback Control) and Air Gestures for AI hands-free control.

For cameras, it has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with PPDAF focus, a 2MP AI camera, and an LED flash. In front, it has an 8MP f/2.0 shooter.
