What does it take to represent your country at the Summer Olympics?
Smart Communications, Inc. has gone behind the scenes into the preparations of the Philippines' elite Olympians with its mini-documentary series—"Puso in Paris 2024". The series features the origins, hopes, dreams, struggles, hearts, determination, victories, and defeats of the Philippines' world-class athletes as they prepare for the Summer Olympic Games.

The four-part series opens with the Philippines' golden boy of gymnastics - Carlos Edriel "Caloy" Yulo. It is followed by Filipino boxers Eumir Marcial, Nesthy Petecio, and Aira Villegas who are punching their way to the podium. The second part of the second episode centers on Tokyo 2020 Olympics silver medalist Carlo Paalam and first-time Olympian Hergie Bacyadan. The third episode dives into the preparations of the first-time Olympian Vanessa Sarno, Elreen Ando, and John Ceniza and how they're upholding the legacy set by Weightlifting Gold-medalist Hidilyn Diaz. The series wraps up with Olympic Pole Vaulter Ernest John "EJ" Obiena.
The Philippines first joined the Olympic games a hundred years ago. For this year's Paris Olympics, the Philippines will be represented by 22 warriors aiming for the podium finish.
