HONOR Magic V3 to debut globally on Sept 5!

IFA 2024 is a prestigious event that will be held in Berlin, Germany this coming September 2024. At that event, HONOR will showcase its next generation of thin foldable devices.

Speaking of which, the Magic V3 measures a 9.2mm thin profile and weighs 226 grams on the vegan leather version and 9.3mm or 230 grams on the glass-back version.

To recap, the device also features a 7.92-inch FHD+ OLED LTPO screen with a 1-120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, 1.07 billion colors, and stylus support.

The cover screen features a 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 4,320Hz PWM dimming, DCI-P3 color gamut, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Additionally, both displays are equipped with Rhino glass protection and support multitouch and AI defocus eye protection.

At the helm, it boasts a 3.3GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with an Adreno GPU and comes with options of 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
The Magic V3 features

The device is equipped with a 5,150mAh battery supporting USB-C 66W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 50W wireless charging.

In the camera department, the Magic V3 boasts a 50MP f/1.9 primary camera with OIS, an 8MP periscope lens, and a 40MP ultra-wide sensor. It also has a 16MP front camera for selfies.

Additional features of the Magic V3 include stereo speakers with DTS Ultra audio, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and IPX8 dust and water resistance.

For connectivity, it offers 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz) dual-satellite SMS, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and support for dual SIMs.

On the software front, it runs on Android 14 with the MagicOS 8.0.1 interface.
