An entry-level phone with a 50MP LYT600 OIS camera?
The realme 12 4G is the company's newest entry-level offering boasting a "stylish" design, capable cameras for Portrait snaps, and more at an affordable price point.
In particular, the handset features a slim and lightweight body at 7.92mm and 187 grams, respectively as well as a "trendy" watch-inspired design featuring a large circular camera hump at the back.

In front, the phone is sporting a 0.68mm Secondary Tempered High Strength Glass protected 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen with Rainwater Smart Touch with 96 percent accuracy, up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, an In-Display fingerprint reader with a heart rate monitor, and a top-center punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera with Air Gestures for hands-free operation.
Under the hood, the phone uses the 6nm Snapdragon 685 octa-core processor, 8GB LPDRR4X RAM w/ up to 8GB Dynamic RAM Expansion (total of 16GB RAM), 256GB internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
According to realme, this phone can last up to 15.12 hours of YouTube streaming and up to 7.22 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang gaming.
To keep its performance in check, the company also added a Stainless Steel Vapor Chamber Cooling System (4392.56mm2 size) in its internals.

The phone's main highlight is it uses a 50MP f/1.88 Sony LYT600 main sensor with PDAF focus and OIS paired with a 2MP f/2.4 mono sensor. According to realme, this camera configuration is optimized for Portrait shots and comes with refined realme UI features.
This device also has a stereo speaker setup with Hi-Res Audio that is best to use on a Hi-Res certified headphone, dual-band WiFi, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
By default, the phone runs with Android 14 OS with realme UI 5.0 skin on top.
