Globe expands Luzon network with 20 new sites

Globe Telecom has deployed 20 new sites across Central Luzon to support the increasing demand for data amid the booming agricultural and tourism sectors.

More towers erected in Luzon

In a statement, the Ayala-backed telco said it fired up six new towers in Bulacan: two in Marilao and one each in Angat, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Hagonoy, and the city of San Jose Del Monte. Twenty more towers were boosted in the province, it added.

In Nueva Ecija, Globe established six new towers, with one new site each in Aliaga, Gapan City, General Tinio, San Isidro, Santa Rosa, and Talavera. Eleven existing sites were also expanded to provide the residents with even faster and more reliable telco services.

In Pampanga, Globe built an additional five cell towers to provide better network coverage in Apalit, Floridablanca, Mexico, San Luis, and Sasmuan. In addition, 15 existing sites were upgraded to expand network capacity and coverage.

Tarlac, meanwhile, got three new sites in Bamban, Concepcion, and Tarlac City, with other sites also upgraded, further enhancing the province’s overall network coverage.
