vivo V40 5G is now official in PH: 3x ZEISS Cameras and IP68/69 rating, starts at PHP 26,999

Following the early price reveal of vivo V40 5G on the official website, now the brand has finally launched its ZEISS Portrait Master product.

To recap, the vivo V40 5G comes with Stellar Silver and Nebula Purple colors. It also now features the ZEISS cameras that aren't present with the V30 5G. Another change is the IP68 and 69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The phone's design

The phone boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display at the front, with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of 4,500 nits, HDR10+ support, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Internally, it features a 2.8GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 octa-core processor paired with an Adreno 720 GPU, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and offers 256GB/512GB storage options. It is also equipped with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a 50MP f/1.88 main sensor with OIS, ZEISS optics + a 50MP ultra-wide camera. At the front, it has a 50MP selfie shooter.

In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM functionality.

As for the operating system, the phone operates on Android 14 with the FuntouchOS 14 interface.
