vivo V40 5G price revealed ahead of launch, 3x ZEISS cameras starting at PHP 26,999

On its official website, Chinese tech firm vivo earlier revealed the official SRP of the new V40 5G ahead of its September 18 Philippine launch.

It has an upgraded water resistance

Coming from the vivo V30 5G, the vivo V40 5G now has an IP68/69 dust and water resistance, a slightly larger 5,500mAh battery (from 5,000mAh), stereo speakers (from a single speaker), and 3x ZEISS branded cameras.

The company also claimed that they loaded the handset with plenty of AI features to improve photos and upgraded the Aura Light now with AI for "portable professional lighting".

Since it now has ZEISS branding, its users can also take advantage of its several effects like the ZEISS Cinematic Portrait Video and other effects.

The rest are similar to the vivo V30 5G. It still has a 6.78-inch 3D curved 120Hz 1.2K AMOLED screen, In-Display fingerprint reader, 12GB RAM (12GB Extended RAM), 256GB or 512GB internal storage, and 80W fast charging.
