HUAWEI showcased the Watch GT 5 Series in Slimmers World for Dance Fitness Class

The fitness event took place last October 31 at the HUWEI Experience Store, SM North Edsa. This move is part of the brand's nonstop drive to promote health and is made in partnership with Slimmers World which is renowned for slimming, health, fitness, and beauty.

The event kicked off with an introduction by a HUAWEI Product Expert, who highlighted the features of its latest smartwatch and its suitability as the ideal fitness companion for any workout.

Guests were invited to join a dynamic dance class conducted by Slimmers World instructors, Coach Karen Mallari and Coach Rochelle Eugenio. As an added bonus, the initial participants of the event were provided with a smartwatch for a firsthand experience. During the session, attendees danced to the rhythm and monitored their performance and health statistics using the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series.

The Slimmers World dance class is the first among many masterclasses and seminars that HUAWEI is offering. In November, HUAWEI will host a GoPaint Masterclass for those interested in learning more about the painting program, which is only available on HUAWEI tablets.

Moving forward, the Watch GT 5 Series offers a sleek design and advanced fitness tracking features. This series presents four models: the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 in 46mm and 41mm sizes, along with the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Pro in 46mm and 42mm. The Pro models boast a build of aerospace-grade titanium alloy and nanocrystal ceramic, ensuring both luxury and durability.

Among its highlights is the HUAWEI TruSense System which the brand claims brings tailored features like the AI-powered Running Coach, improved trail running navigation, free diving support that can handle up to 40 meters underwater, and the enhanced Gold Mode (Pro version) which boasts 15,000 global course maps and 100+ course maps in the Philippines.

The watch also tracks users' daily movements using the Activity Rings feature and supports over 100 training modes, including "dance" and other sports activities via the "custom" function. This feature monitors basic dance metrics such as time, heart rate, calories, and training stress. This also allows you to record a variety of dances, including belly dance, Latin dance, jazz, ballet, Plaza dance, and more.

Apart from the mentioned features, users can also track their heart health using the Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis, SpO2, and ECG monitoring.

There's also the Sleep Breathing Awareness which lets you monitor sleep quality and aid users in addressing Sleep Apnea.

The watch now has an Emotional Wellbeing Assistant that records users' emotional states, as well as the Pet Panda watch face, which displays an animated cute panda based on the user's mood, providing a more holistic approach to personal wellness management.
