HONOR 300, 300 Pro launched: Snapdragon chips, 50MP IMX906 main cameras, 100W charging

Apart from the Ultra variant, HONOR also introduces the HONOR 300 and 300 Pro.

Similarly, these devices highlight "SLR-level portraits" with their camera setup and AI light control engine that ensures great photos for different light situations.

The HONOR 300 poses new colorways of Purple and Blue on top of Black, White, and Grey.

In front, it has a slightly smaller screen with its 6.7-inch OLED panel with 2664 x 1200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 4,000 nits peak brightness, and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

Inside, it still sports the 2.63GHz Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, and 256GB/512GB storage.

For battery, it has a 5,300mAh size and 100W fast charging.

On the imaging section, the phone retains a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide shooter. However, it loses the 50MP telephoto camera from its predecessor.

The HONOR 300 Pro

Moving forward, the HONOR 300 Pro has a slightly bigger 6.78-inch OLED with 2700 x 1224 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 4,000 nits peak brightness, and 3840Hz PWM dimming.

Inside, the device uses an underclocked 3.0GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with Adreno GPU, 12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage.

It also sports the same 5,300mAh battery and 100W charging but comes with 80W wireless charging as well.

For cameras, the phone also uses the same 50MP Sony IMX906 main shooter + 12MP ultra-wide camera and 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto camera.

Other features are stereo speakers, an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, and VC cooling to keep the temperatures low.

Connectivity-wise, both have 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 or 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the two phones run Android 15 with MagicOS 8.0.
