HONOR will launch its "toughest smartphone" yet in the Philippines in 2025

In a recent teaser video post on Facebook, HONOR revealed that its "toughest smartphone" yet is coming to the Philippines in 2025.

Any guesses?

A new ultra-durable smartphone is coming!

The post reads "Let's start the year with a bang!" suggesting that there's a chance that the company will launch the handset in early January.

The teaser video suggests that they have tested the device to survive different harsh conditions and even accidents. It shows that they might smash it on hollow blocks, can withstand extreme heat, survive different drop tests, pass water pressure tests, and probably even endure getting dropped by weights.

There is no mention of what exact model of smartphone is this yet. But this appears to be a level-up to what they did with the viral HONOR X9b 5G last year.

In Malaysia, the brand also recently launched the HONOR X9c 5G with improved drop resistance, IP65 dust and water splash rating, and better overall internals to ensure its durability.

If our hunch is correct, it will be the same smartphone that HONOR Philippines is currently teasing.
