Smart to launch and showcase the "5G Max" experience in BGC on December 14

This December 14, PLDT mobile arm Smart Communications, Inc. will showcase the capabilities of the new "5G Max" technology.

Smart 5G Max is coming!

Smart has stated that its 5G Max technology has made 5G connectivity seamless in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). The company plans to expand this coverage nationwide in the coming months.

Smart has yet to provide additional details about the 5G Max technology, but it is expected to be similar to the recently launched 5G Max connectivity from its sister brand, TNT.

If it's the same, 5G Max will enhance the network experience, offering faster speeds and more reliable connectivity for subscribers.

Smart claims that this tech will allow subscribers to stream ultra-high-definition movies and shows, share content on social media in real time, and play high-bandwidth mobile games without lag.

Gone are the days of fluctuating connections from 5G to 4G and even 3G. With Smart 5G Max, you can enjoy, fast download speeds for streaming, instant uplink for sharing, and  low-latency for gaming — all without interruption and on-the-go, she added. 

Moreover, Smart has a "Creators's Lab, Game Arena, Streamer Theater, and 5G-powered Stage and Store" in the venue.

The Creator's Lab is an interactive area where users can experiment with creating content and upload it on TikTok in a snap. The setup is complete with a green screen backdrop dance challenge floor, and a duet singing booth for your instant TikTok content.

In the Game Arena, there is a chance to play against the Smart Omega team on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to win a prize. They have a 5v5 set-up with high-end gaming smartphones to maximize the power of Smart 5G Max.

Meanwhile, Stream Theater allows users to catch the latest shows on MAX and Netflix in 4K.
