TECNO PHANTOM V Flip2 5G is coming to the Philippines
Coming from the first V Flip, the new TECNO PHANTOM V Flip2 5G boasts a flatter folding display, larger cover screen, upgraded specs, and better camera configuration.

In particular, the handset now has a 3.64-inch square curved AMOLED panel with 1056 x 1056 and 413 ppi instead of a circular 1.32-inch screen. This can display interactive pets, play music, and games.
When unfolded, the device has a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 22:9 aspect ratio, and a top-center punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera.
According to TECNO, the fold was made possible using its updated with "double helical star-track drop hinge". This allows the device survive up to 400,000 room temp folds, 150,000 high-temp folds, and 100,000 low-temp folds.
The back of the device uses a "Shimmering Sand Etch Crafted Design" which roduces intricate details of "twinkling stars and shines like a sunlit frost".
The handset is 7.6mm slim when unfolded and 16mm when folded. It weighs 196 grams.
For specs, the device is powered by the 2.6GHz 6nm Dimensity 8020 with Mali-G77 MP9 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage.
From 4,000mAh adn 45W of the first V Flip, the TECNO PHANTOM V Flip2 5G now has a large 4,700mAh battery with a faster 70W Ultra Charge.

For cameras, the phone uses a 50MP 1/1.57-inch main shooter + 50MP ultra-wide and 32MP with AF on selfies.
This phone also has stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio.
Connectivity-wise the phone supports 5G, 4G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS.
The PHANTOM V Flip 2 runs Android 14 out of the box.
The Google Gemini AI capabilities of the handset include AI Translation, AI Writing, voice assistant Ella, AI Artboard, AI Wallpaper Generator, and AI Smart Erase, among others.
