Yet-to-be-announced Xiaomi 15 Ultra's dual variants have received China's 3C certification. It may launch soon.
In early November 2024, SmartPrix posted online fan-made renders and alleged camera specifications of the upcoming flagship. SmartPrix claims that it will feature a large 6.7-inch 2K LTPO micro quad-curved display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging, and 80W fast wireless charging. It will allegedly run on HyperOS 2-based Android 15.
At the back of the phone are a Leica-branded 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2x telephoto camera and a 200MP f/2.6 4.3x periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.4-inch Samsung ISOCELL sensor with an LED flash. While in front is a 32MP selfie camera.
In February of this year, China's 3C authority approved the Xiaomi 14 Ultra which was then launched in the same month.
In December 2024, China's 3C has certified the unannounced Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Phones typically launch in a month or two after appearing on China's 3C database. This could mean that the upcoming flagship could launch as early as late December or in early January.
The database indicates that there are two variants of the new flagship with model numbers 2501PN30C and 2519PN30C. The former supports calls is Tiantong satellite connectivity and text messaging via Beidou Satellite connectivity.
The same certification reveals that both variants may ship with Xiaomi's MDY-14-EC charger with 90W fast charging.
Take this information with a grain of salt until Xiaomi's official announcement.
