In Las Vegas, Acer earlier unveiled its updated Nitro V Series entry-level gaming laptops. This lineup aims to make AI-powered laptops more accessible.

New AI-powered entry-level gaming laptops
The 2025 Acer Nitro V Series consists of the Nitro V 14 AI, Nitro V 15, Nitro V 15 AI, Nitro V 16 AI, and Nitro V 17 AI. The company said that these laptops are ideal for students, creators, and essential gamers seeking all-around performance.
Acer added that these laptops offer a blend of "exceptional responsiveness, stutter-free visuals, and ample storage to support the demands of evolving AI features and applications".

The Nitro V 14 AI, Nitro V 16 AI, and Nitro V 17 AI are all powered by up to the new AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, based on the new "Zen 5" architecture. These chips promise to enable smooth local AI capabilities, optimized low power consumption, and accelerated responsiveness when gaming or creating.
The Copilot+ PCs are powered by an NPU with up to 50 AI TOPS processing power and can enable generative AI experiences, like Cocreator in Paint.
Moreover, they are equipped with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPUs with the latest NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 technologies for lifelike virtual scenes with ray tracing and up to 32 GB of memory and 2TB of storage.
The main highlight of the lineup is the Nitro V 17 AI (ANV17-61) gaming laptop with a 17.3-inch,16:9 QHD (2560 x 1440) display with up to a 165Hz refresh rate and DCI-P3 100 percent color gamut.
They also have the Nitro V 16 AI (ANV16-61) with WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution, up to 180Hz and sRGB 100 percent.
Meanwhile, the Nitro V14 AI (ANV14-62) uses a white pearl-like finish, WQXGA resolution, and a 165Hz refresh rate screen.

On the other hand, the Nitro V 15 AI (ANV15-42) boasts up to AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor. The Nitro V 15 (ANV15-52) is packed with an Intel Core 7 processor 240H with dedicated AI acceleration capabilities. The laptops use a 15.6-inch FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and 100 percent sRGB color support.
The laptops come with three months of PC Game Pass with games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Ara: History Untold, and titles from EA Play.
They also have the NitroSense key to command the laptop's performance and customizations. It has direct access to the control center and AI software suite through the new Experience Zone 2.0.
For calls or streaming, it has the Acer PurifiedVoice with AI to block out external noises. Then, the Acer PurifiedView always keeps users front and center of all the action.
Acer has yet to reveal its price and availability details for the Philippine market.
