OPPO Reno 13F 4G and 5G launched

Both devices offer nearly identical hardware except for the chipsets which dictates their data connectivity.

At the back, the phones come in three colors namely Graphite Gray, Skyline Blue, Luminous Blue, and Plume Purple. 

Moreover, they are using IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. The latter two indicate that it can withstand hot water jets at 80 degrees Celsius and a submersion of 2 meters for 30 minutes. Additionally, when the phone is dropped, the interior has been engineered to absorb impacts.

In front, the phones use a 6.67-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent sRGB, and DCI-P3 color gamut, 1200 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Dragontrail Star 2 glass.

The display

The 5G variant gets a 2.2GHz 6nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with Adreno GPU while the 4G version uses a 2.2GHz Helio G100 chip with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

These are paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options. Although the 4G variant is limited to 8GB RAM only and uses UFS 2.2 memory while the 5G uses UFS 3.1.

For batteries, they have large 5,800mAh sizes that charge using USB-C 45W SUPERVOOC. Both also can retain 80 percent battery health after 4 years.

Cameras-wise, they are equipped with a 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro helper. For selfies, it uses a 32MP camera. The 4G is limited to 1080p recording while the 5G can handle up to 4K 30 fps.

Apart from 4G or 5G connectivities, the devices have AI Link Boost 2.0 which utilizes 11 antennas placed 360 degrees to provide improved signals.

Currently, these are the confirmed details. OPPO has not disclosed information about the OS, pricing, or availability yet. However, the devices are expected to launch first in the APAC region.
