vivo Y39 5G launched: SD 4 Gen 2 + 6,500mAh battery

vivo Y39 5G was silently introduced in Malaysia joining the long list of Y-series.

Entry-level drop-resistant phone with a long battery

The phone arrived in sleek designs available in Ocean Blue and Galaxy Purple colorways. vivo also noted its drop-resistant build and the IP64 rating as protection against dust or splashes. 

In front, it has a 6.68-inch LCD panel with 1608 x 720 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside, it is powered by the 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 octa-core chip with Adreno GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage.

It also has a 6,500mAh battery paired with 44W flash charging. vivo claims it can be full from 1 percent to 100 percent in 83 minutes.

For cameras, it has a 50MP f/1.8 shooter + 2MP depth helper + ring flash. At the front, you can use the 8MP sensor for selfies.

Other features are 400 percent stereo speakers for immersive audio.

Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC and dual SIM.

Malaysia price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo Y39 5G 8GB/256GB - MYR 1,099 (around PHP 13K)
