The realme 12 4G went official last August 2024 and was priced at under PHP 14K and below are some of its main highlights.

The realme 12 4G design

To recap, the device features a sleek design, great display, solid battery life, and remarkable cameras.

It boasts a matte textured back available in Pioneer Gree or Skyline Blue, stitched leather at the middle, Luxury Watch Design, and IP54 dust and water resistance.

Another highlight is the 0.68mm Secondary Tempered High Strength Glass protected 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness, Rainwater Smart Touch with 96 percent accuracy. Moreover, the In-Display fingerprint reader can also act as a heart rate monitor.

Inside is the 2.8GHz Snapdragon 685 8-core chip with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB/256GB memory, 5,000mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC USB-C fast charging. 

For cameras, it has a 50MP f/1.88 Sony LYT600 main shooter with PDAF + OIS and is coupled with a 2MP f/2.4 mono sensor. It also has a 16MP front camera for selfies with Air Gesture for hand-free operation.

Quick thoughts

All in all, we do quite get the hang of realme 12 4G, we do find it a bit pricey with its PHP 13,999 price tag but the AMOLED display, stylish design, long-lasting battery, and good cameras kind of justify it. 

When it comes to its 4G LTE connectivity, we're still on the 50-50 side, if that doesn't bother you then do check it out.
