PH teams emerged victorious at HUAWEI competition

The competition, which was held last February 27, gathered the brightest minds in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector from across the Asia-Pacific region.

According to Chinese tech giant HUAWEI, the Philippines "emerged as one of the top-performing nations."

HUAWEI said the Philippine teams delivered exceptional performances, winning multiple awards across various categories, including Cloud Computing, Networking, Innovation, and Computing. Additionally, Filipino educators made their mark in the newly introduced Teaching Track, showcasing the country’s commitment to advancing ICT education and innovation.

The HUAWEI ICT Competition is a worldwide initiative meant to cultivate talent and drive innovation between students and educators.

Since its inception, the competition has attracted participation from thousands of students and faculty members across the globe, providing a platform for them to showcase their talents and compete at the highest level, HUAWEI said.
