OPPO reveals Find X8S design in a teaser video, launching on April

A Chinese actor and an OPPO top executive were spotted with the upcoming Find X8S also known as the "Find X8 Mini".

Is a top-end OPPO compact phone coming soon?

In a video clip, a celebrity named Li Xian flaunts the device in a film set. Apart from that, Zhou Yibao, OPPO’s Find series product head, released a video showcasing the phone’s front design. He even added it will be the world's narrowest four-sided equal bezels on a smartphone.

Additionally, Zhou provided some insights into the device’s slim build and lightweight design, highlighting its features as a compact flagship model.

The brand teases the device to be a premium compact phone with flagship-level performance. The executive said the Find X8s just weighs 173 grams which is 20 grams lighter versus the iPhone 16 pro. Meanwhile, it also has a 7.7mm thin frame, providing slimmer looks than the same iPhone model mentioned earlier.

In case you don't know yet, the OPPO Find X8s is expected to come equipped with a 6.31-inch OLED display. Images of the phone’s rear design indicate that it will retain the round camera module seen in the current Find X8 series. However, the module appears to be smaller and slimmer, likely due to the device’s compact form factor.

Inside the device, it is expected to feature a 3nm Dimensity 9400+ chip. While OPPO did not mention the battery capacity, it is reported to use a 5,700mAh size despite having a small form factor. The battery is also paired with an 80W SUPERVOOC and 50W wireless charging capability.

Finally,  the Find X8s is expected to make its debut in April, alongside a variety of other products. These include the higher-end models, the Find X8s+ and Find X8 Ultra, as well as the OPPO Pad 4 Pro tablet and the Enco Free 4 TWS earbuds.
