New mid-range camera contenders are coming soon

As expected, there will be two additional phones on this lineup, consisting of the vanilla HONOR 400 and HONOR 400 Pro, both of which are joining their "Lite" sibling announced last month.

A recently released teaser image reveals the rear camera setup of an upcoming Honor smartphone, likely belonging to the 400 series. The design includes a circular camera module housing what seems to be three separate lenses, along with a possible LED flash, arranged symmetrically.

The text "Next-Gen AI Imaging" appears above the camera setup, indicating a focus on AI-enhanced photography capabilities in the new device. Additionally, the phrase "Coming Soon" at the bottom suggests a potential launch in May.

Based on recent leaks, the base model HONOR 400 is expected to sport a 6.55-inch flat AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000 nits peak brightness, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB or 512GB memory configuration.

It is also rumored to feature a 200MP OIS main shooter paired with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP selfie camera.

Meanwhile, the HONOR 400 Pro model is expected to use a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED with a 1.5K 120Hz panel and 5,000 nits max brightness.

It will have a stronger Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM.

Camera-wise, the phone is tipped to feature a similar 200MP OIS main sensor paired with a 12MP ultra-wide and a 50MP telephoto camera. Moreover, it is also rumored to have a 50MP selfie camera as well.

When it comes to the battery, there have been conflicting reports. Others suggest both devices will have 5,300mAh capacities.

Meanwhile, renowned tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that both could feature battery capacities starting with a number 7, which suggests there's a potential of more than 7,000mAh for these phones.

For now, take these leaks with a grain of salt until the official announcement.
