Thanks to the advent of new generation battery technologies for mobile devices, more and more mobile manufacturers in 2025 are coming up with smartphones with over 5,000mAh capacities without sacrificing on the slimness of designs and weight.

This concept smartphone might be the most absurd of them, but in a good way.

According to several information on the official social media pages of realme and a press release they sent to the media in India, the new concept smartphone is a part of the upcoming GT 7 Series.

Aimed to target users with battery anxiety, the concept smartphone packs a jaw-dropping 10,000mAh capacity powered by an ultra-high silicon-concept anode battery technology. realme shared that it has a 10 percent silicon ratio and 887Wh/L.

Moreover, it supports the 320W fast charging technology of realme. MySmartPrice confirmed that it will come with a 100W in-box charger.

The prototype phone also has a semi-transparent back to give a glimpse of the battery and flex its compact mainboard.

Upon digging further, we learned that the phone is only 8.5 mm thick and weighs just 200 grams despite its big battery.  For comparison, that's nearly as thin as the iPhone 16 Pro Max (8.3mm) while being even lighter (227 grams).

At the moment, this is a concept smartphone. But, realme has demonstrated the potential of this technology, and it's currently in the development phase. A commercial release isn't happening anytime soon.

But yes, this glimpse of the future made us really excited.

The company is yet to reveal more details about the phone.

Anyway, realme is expected to release the GT 7 Series globally soon.
