Xiaomi 15S Pro launched: 3nm XRING O1 chip, 6,100mAh battery, triple 50MP cameras

Xiaomi 15S Pro unveiled, featuring the brand's 1st in-house chipset on par with Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The device features a refined design with a one-piece aviation-grade aluminum frame. It is also available in two colorways—Blue and Black with carbon fiber texture. 

Furthermore, the phone packs an IP68 dust and water resistance rating as protection against unwanted dust and the ability to handle water dips and splashes. The phone measures 161.3 x 75.3 x 8.33mm and weighs 216 grams.

The features of Xiaomi 15S Pro

The Xiaomi 15S Pro sports a 6.73-inch 2K M9 OLED LTPO display with a resolution of 3100 x 1440, a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. The screen also supports 1920Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and is protected by Xiaomi Ceramic Glass 2.0.

Powering the device is Xiaomi’s in-house XRING O1 10-core 3nm chipset, paired with a 16-core Immortalis-G925 GPU. The processor is capable of delivering an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 3 million, making it comparable with the likes of Snapdragon 8 Elite or Dimensity 9400.

The chip is also cooled using the wing-shaped cold pump cooling system with vapor-liquid separation, offering a heat dissipation area of up to 4053mm².

It also comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. 

The device houses a 6,100mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and magnetic wireless charging support.

For photography, the Xiaomi 15S Pro features a triple-camera setup co-engineered with Leica.

It features a 50MP f/1.62 1/1.31-inch main camera with HyperOS + 50MP ultra-wide lens + 50MP 5x telephoto zoom and up to 10x lossless zoom.

According to Xiaomi, the imaging is supported by the XRING O1 ISP v4, capable of processing up to 8.7 billion pixels per second. The front camera is a 32MP sensor with 4K 60fps video recording.

Additional features include an In-Display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a 4-microphone array.

Connectivity options include WiFi 7, 5G SA/NSA, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and multiple satellite navigation systems. 

Finally, it runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 out of the box based on Android 15.

Xiaomi 15S Pro 16GB/1TB - CNY 5,999 (around PHP 46.3K)

The phone is now available in China. However, Xiaomi did not reveal availability information to other markets as of the moment.
