Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra launched: 14-inch 3.2K OLED, XRING O1 chip, 12,000mAh battery

Xiaomi launches its flagship tablet featuring its self-developed processor called the XRING O1.

Large and powerful tablet

The tablet features sleek professional design available in Black or Silver colorways. It measures just 5.1mm thin thickness and weighs 609 grams. Xiaomi says it uses high-strength aluminum alloy to bolster its toughness by 18 percent while also maintaining the weight.

In front, it uses a large 14-inch 3.2K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits peak brightness, a 96.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a 3:2 aspect ratio.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also offering an option of a nano-soft light screen model, which minimizes reflectivity by 70 percent and glares up to 99 percent. The screen also features Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid, ZREAL, and has TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free.

Inside, it uses Xiaomi's very first self-developed chip, called the 3.7GHz 3nm XRING O1, with a 10-core CPU and a 16-core Immortalis-G925 GPU. Furthermore, it also has a 6-core NPU with 44 TOPS of AI power.

It is paired with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5T RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.1 storage options.

It also has a 12,000mAh battery with 120W USB-C HyperCharge and supports 7.5 reverse charging.

For cameras, it also 50MP f/1.8 Samsung JN1 at the back while it uses a 32MP camera for selfies.

Other features mentioned are 8 speakers with Dolby Atmos, Spatial audio, Hi-Res certification for both wired and wireless, 4x microphones with noise reduction, and QQ music premium certification.

Connectivity features are WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz) and NFC.

For OS, the tablet runs on Android 15 with HyperOS skin on top.

It is currently available in China. No word yet for the PH release.
