It seems like Grab is expanding its services in the country.

An in-app ad recently popped up in our Grab app that showed "Welcome to GrabCar Premium."

The ad also said passengers can experience class and comfort in the Hyundai Staria or GAC M8.

In Malaysia, where GrabCar Premium is available, cars manufactured in 2015 and newer are eligible for this service. Drivers also need to maintain a rating of 4.85 and above.

Only driver-partners who meet the service requirements will have Premium added to their accounts. This may be removed if driver-partners fail to meet the Premium service requirements and driver rating criteria.

When we tried booking, the service was not yet available in the app. The options available were still the standard and saver services.

Grab Philippines has yet to make any official announcements, but this service will surely be a good addition for barkadas or families who want to comfortably commute.
