vivo has introduced the Y400 Pro 5G, marking the latest addition to its Y400 series.

Slim and stylish mid-range

The smartphone features a sleek design with a thickness of just 7.49mm in Nebula Purple, while the Fest Gold variant measures 7.72mm. It weighs 182 grams and comes with an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The device sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of FHD+ 2392 x 1080, and has a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it sports a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits.

Inside, it is powered by the 2.5GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 4nm octa-core processor, paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, along with an additional 8GB of virtual RAM.

The phone houses a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, capable of reaching 50 percent charge in just 19 minutes.

For photography, the device features a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS and an f/1.79 aperture paired with a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The rear setup also includes an Aura Light for smart color temperature adjustment. 

On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.

Additional features include stereo speakers and USB Type-C audio support.

Connectivity options include WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and dual SIM. 

Finally, the phone runs on Android 15 with vivo’s Funtouch OS 15.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo Y400 Pro 5G 8GB/128GB - INR 24,999 (around PHP 16.5K)
vivo Y400 Pro 5G 8GB/256GB - INR 26,999 (around PHP 17.8K)

The device is currently available in India. No word yet if it will arrive in other countries at the moment.
