TECNO POVA 7 now official in PH: Interstellar design, 7,000mAh battery, 108MP cam, PHP 6,999 starting price

Surprise! TECNO Mobile Philippines today launched the POVA 7 in the Philippines. The company's press release also revealed that its other siblings premium POVA 7 Ultra 5G and the stylish POVA Curve 5G will launch in the country in Q3 2025.

This new device is a futuristic-looking smartphone boasting the Interstellar Spaceship Design with Matte Finish, Unique Triangular Geometry, Spliced Optical Patterns, and Simulated Rivet Decoration. It is available in Geek Black, Magic Silver, and Hyper Titanium colors.

For durability, the company added an IP64 dust and water resistance rating.

Key features of the TECNO POVA 7

In terms of specs, the handset uses an immersive 6.78-inch 120Hz screen with 1000Hz instant touch sampling rate and FHD+ resolution, 6nm Helio 100 Ultimate chip (446,335 AnTuTu score), 8GB RAM (up to 16GB Extended RAM), 128GB or 256GB internal storage, and a massive 7,000mAh battery capacity.

TECNO claims that it can last for 36.76 hours of daily use and 1,800 charging cycles, which is equivalent to up to four years of durable battery health.

It also comes with a USB-C 45W Flash Charge brick, which can charge the device from 0 to 50 percent in 30 minutes under Smart Charge mode and 100 percent in 70 minutes. This also features low-temperature charging to ensure safe charging.

For cameras, it uses a 108MP main shooter, a 2MP macro helper, and an 8MP selfie camera.

TECNO said that it is also the company's first POVA model with FreeLink, which enables the phone to send and receive messages and even make calls within a 500-meter range in signal-free areas. It also has the PinPoint Nav 2.0 tech, which offers precise positioning with minimal lag and 60 percent precision improvement.

According to the company, this significant update introduces a visually expressive, distraction-free experience, enhanced by a neumorphism-inspired design and POVA's signature typeface, redefining personalization across the TECNO ecosystem.

The device also has Dynamic Animations and Always-on Display.

TECNO Philippines has also named the POVA 7 Series as the official smartphone partner for both the PUBG MOBILE Challenges League SEA (PMCL SEA) and the PUBG MOBILE Super League SEA (PMSL SEA), reinforcing the device's high-performance gaming reputation and solidifying its presence in Southeast Asia's top-tier mobile Esports scene.
