GrabCar Premium officially available in PH

New service option from Grab

Grab has updated its ride options with the official addition of its Premium service.

For airport and city ride

In June, Grab teased the launch of GrabCar Premium in the country. Under this service, cars manufactured in 2015 or newer are eligible. Drivers also need to maintain a rating of 4.85 and above.

Since the feature is still in beta, its availability is still limited. Based on our quick check, the Premium service is accessible in the Pasig and Makati areas.

Compared to Standard and Saver, the pricing for Premium is on the higher end. This also uses cars like the Hyundai Staria and the Toyota Super Grandia.

In terms of pricing, Premium is more than double the Standard service. In one of our examples, traveling from Ortigas to Makati costs PHP 269 for the Standard car, which surges to PHP 933 for the Premium car.

Such cars are much more spacious, making them ideal for those on the way to the airport.
