Electric vehicles (EV) are further expanding in the country with the launch of Green GSM in the Philippines.

In a social media post, the company announced that its e-taxis have started running around Metro Manila.
The first all-electric taxi fleet in the PH is ready to give you a mas presko, mas tipid, at mas eco-friendly na biyahe! Green GSM said in the post.
Green GSM is powered by VinFast EVs, a Vietnamese automaker that specializes in EVs, including electric scooters and cars.
With the entry of Green GSM in the country, commuters now have another option, aside from ride-hailing apps such as Grab and Joyride, that is more eco-friendly.
There is still no information regarding its rollout in other parts of the country.
