HUAWEI confirms the launch of its next generation of flagship camera phones—Pure 80 Series this month of June, and that will be next week.

As per the brand, the upcoming Pura 80 series will debut on June 11, ending speculation about the release date. The company shared a promotional poster on its Weibo account earlier today, confirming the launch event.

Last month, a senior HUAWEI executive had hinted at a June release for the Pura 80 series. The company has now provided further details, stating that the event will take place at 14:30 Beijing Time. Alongside the new smartphones, the company is also expected to introduce additional smart products.

The promotional image features a prominent camera module with two glossy lenses encircled by a thick golden rim. Industry observers suggest these could be dual-periscope telephoto camera sensors, likely reserved for the Pura 80 Pro+ or Ultra models.

Earlier this week, HUAWEI Consumer Business Group CEO He Gang inadvertently revealed a Pura 80 variant during a public appearance. Photos of the device, later shared on Weibo, showcased a large rear camera bump.

Additionally, the brand has verified that the Pura 80 lineup will run on the stable version of HarmonyOS 5.0. However, key specifications and technical details remain undisclosed.

The teaser and accompanying caption suggest significant advancements in the Pura 80 series’ imaging capabilities. Further details about the device’s features and technology should be revealed during the official launch.
