HUAWEI Pura 80 to feature a single lens with dual focal-length periscope zoom
Ahead of its official reveal in China next week, tech giant HUAWEI started teasing the upcoming Pura 80 Series.

HUAWEI's most powerful camera phone is coming
It showed that the company will retain its triangular/play button-like camera hump, but with bigger camera sensors suggesting that it will be an even better photo-video powerhouse.
New teasers also showed that the company is highlighting the periscope zoom capabilities of the device. One of them highlights the company's imaging advancements in its high-end Mate and P Series devices through the years to further excite its fans about what's next.

Meanwhile, the other teaser showcases what it can do. It teased that one of the Pura 80 devices with the ability to do 2x, 3.7x, 10x, and 20x zooms.
What's interesting is that the video implies that the handset can do high-quality zooms at 10x and 20x range. We are just unsure if it is a hybrid zoom (hardware + software) or optical (hardware only).
This handset is expected to be the top-of-the-line Pura 80 Ultra model. Rumors point that it may use a 6.8-inch display, a Kirin 9020 chip, a 1-inch main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP 1/1.3-inch periscope shooter.
The entire line will go official on June 11, 2025, at 14:30 China time.
