Finally, a slim, light, and durable Samsung Galaxy Z Fold?

A major update to the Galaxy Z Fold is coming

According to the company, it will be thin, light, and built to last.

In particular, the company claims that it will be the thinnest, lightest, and most advanced foldable smartphone on the market once out.

If these claims are true, this might be the first major Z Fold upgrade in years.

The current Z Fold6 is decent, but for a top-of-the-line device, it feels lagging in design, thickness, cameras, and battery versus its Chinese competitors, particularly OPPO, HONOR, and HUAWEI, who all breached the under 10mm slimness when folded while providing better numbers and durability feats on paper.

Currently, the OPPO Find N5 is the slimmest foldable smartphone in the world when folded at 8.93 mm despite having a large 5,600mAh battery, 1,200mAh larger than the 4,400mAh found on the Z Fold6.

Based on its new teasers, the upcoming Z Fold will be super slim, and we are excited about it.

Will the possible "Galaxy Z Fold7" finally close the gap with rivals?

There are no other details about the upcoming foldable yet. Expect the company to release more details in the next few days and weeks.

Let's see.
