Expanding reach with increasing 5G coverage

DITO Telecommunity has announced breaching the 15-million subscriber mark four years after it was commercially launched in March 2021.

This milestone will push us to keep raising the bar—investing in our network, delivering better experiences, and redefining what’s possible in Philippine telecommunications, said Atty. Adel Tamano, Chief Revenue Officer of DITO Telecommunity.

Prior to this, DITO bagged recognition from Opensignal as the Fastest Mobile Network in the Philippines. In its April 2025 Mobile Network Experience Report, Opensignal conferred 14 out of 16 awards to DITO, including wins across the 5G Experience section of the report.

DITO said it is on track to reach more subscribers with the rapid expansion of 5G coverage and continued investments in network infrastructure.

DITO's performance at the Opensignal April 2025 report reflects the strength of its all-IP network and 5G Standalone (SA) infrastructure.

DITO leads not only in speed but in overall mobile experience; topping the charts in Video Experience, Games Experience, and Voice App Experience. These results affirm DITO’s relentless focus on building a network shaped by the needs and aspirations of today’s hyperconnected Filipino, the telco said.
