vivo Y400 launched: Snapdragon 685, IP68/69 rating, 6,000mAh battery

vivo introduces the Y400 4G with features tailored for entry-level performance and durability.

Entry-level with water resistance

Style meets functionality

The device arrived with two color designs, namely the Purple Twilight and Tropical Green. It features a dual IP rating of IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance, giving it robust protection against dirt and water dips.

The front of the smartphone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. It also has a peak brightness of 1,800 nits for clear visibility in various lighting conditions.

The vivo Y400 features

Inside, the device uses a 2.8GHz 6nm Snapdragon 685 octa-core chip with Adreno 610 GPU. Unfortunately, vivo did not reveal its storage options at the moment.

The battery

For the battery it uses a 6,000mAh capacity with USB-C 44W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary shooter paired with a 2MP depth helper.

The rest mentioned are WiFi, 4G connectivity, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Finally, it runs with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.

Unfortunately, vivo did not reveal the price and availability yet, but you can view its listing on the vivo Indonesia website.
